Rose joined the television series Charmed in 2001. She plays Paige Matthews, half-sister of Piper and Phoebe Halliwell.

Paige was created to replace Prue (Shannen Doherty). Doherty left Charmed after season three. Since three witches are required for “the power of three”, the lost half-sister of Paige emerged.

Paige's parents are Patricia Halliwell and her whitelighter Sam. This forbidden union meant Paige was given up for adoption. But her powers were awakened with Prue's death. As half-witch, half-whitelighter, Paige can both orb and move objects telekinetically.

As the youngest sister, Paige struggles to fit in with Piper and Phoebe. She also wrestles with the responsibility of her new-found powers.

Parallel to Paige's development, Rose is also growing as an actress. Having only done movies before Charmed, Rose never held the same role for long. But with television, Rose can continually work on Paige as she matures.
